Sustainable tourism policy

Aware of the importance of maintaining sustainable tourism development, and assuming the principles specifically adopted in the Sectorial Technical Standard NTS – TS 002, the Hotel Plazuela de San Agustín (PSAHOTEL) is committed to carrying out a sustainable management of its activities by adopting of commitments aimed at preventing, eliminating or reducing the impact of our facilities and activities, both internal and external, as well as optimizing the sustainability of the Hotel Plazuela de San Agustín (PSAHOTEL), improving its behavior with the environment. In this same sense, the Hotel Plazuela de San Agustín (PSAHOTEL) has adopted the following sustainable tourism policy, by means of which it undertakes to comply with the requirements established in the Sectorial Technical Standard NTS – TS 002, which includes, among other things, the legal requirements that regulate the effects generated by tourist activity. Likewise, we are committed to motivating and training our staff with training and awareness actions on the principles of sustainable tourism, to promote good environmental practices in the environment, participate in external activities, and report both internally and externally on progress and actions.

Code of conduct, CSEC prevention

 

In accordance with the provisions of Law 679 of August 3, 2001, all persons must prevent, block, combat and report the exploitation, accommodation, use, publication, dissemination of images, texts, documents, audiovisual files, improper use of global information networks, or the establishment of telematic links of any kind related to pornographic material or allusive to the sexual activities of minors. Failure to comply with the above could generate criminal and administrative liability.

 

Policy for the prevention of child sexual exploitation

 

The Hotel Plazuela de San Agustín (PSAHOTEL) is committed to preventing the exploitation and sexual abuse of minors associated with tourism, therefore we develop the following prevention activities:

 

  • The guest is informed that art. 16 of Law 679 of August 3, 2001, regarding the protection of minors from prostitution.

 

  • Guests and companions of minors are asked to present their identity document: passport if they are foreigners and citizenship card if they are nationals.

 

  • In the case of minors, a passport, identity card or civil registry is requested to verify the link that identifies it. with a first degree relationship, if the person is staying with another minor relative other than the child, it is reported that they must carry a letter of authorization from the parents to stay. The rental of rooms will not be allowed when there is a suspicion that it may be a case of sexual abuse of minors. In this case, the employees of the accommodation and lodging establishment should avoid at all costs renting the room and let the client leave without ruling out that they are facing a case of sexual abuse of minors.

 

  • For no reason, employees and suppliers may promote or offer tourist packages, sites, images, texts, advertising, video, or any means in which sexual activities with minors are shown.

 

  • Employees, suppliers, clients, guides and external agencies will be constantly trained and sensitized in this regard.

Data protection policy

Imaginaries Ltda. Guarantees the protection of rights such as Habeas Data, privacy, intimacy, good name, image and autonomy, for this purpose all actions will be governed by principles of good faith, legality, computer self-determination, freedom and transparency.

Whoever in the exercise of any activity, can supply any type of information or personal data to Imaginaries ltda., And in which he is acting as the person in charge of the treatment or person in charge of the treatment will be able to know, modify or update it.

Imaginaries ltda., Will keep in mind, at all times, that personal data are the property of the people to whom they refer and that only they can decide on them.

Imaginaries ltda., Will guarantee the right of access when, after accreditation of the identity of the owner, making the respective personal data available to the latter, free of charge. Said access must be offered without any limit and must allow the holder the possibility of knowing and updating them.

This policy is framed in the provisions of the Political Constitution, article 15, as well as laws 1266 of 2008 and 1581 of 2012 and Regulatory Decrees 1727 of 2009, 2952 of 2010 and 1377 of 2013

Change and cancellation policy

  • Reservations are non-refundable

  • It is possible to change a  Reserve at least 48 hours in advance with a written request.

  • If you cancel the reservation at least 48 hours in advance, the amount paid will be applied as an advance for a next reservation. The maximum term to use it is 1 year. This request must be made in writing.

Reservation policy

Policy on children

  • Children from 0 to 2  years free up to a maximum of 2 per room sharing with two adults and using existing beds.

  • We do not have extra beds

  • Children from 3 years old are considered adults, therefore they must be included in the reservation as adults.

Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in is at 2:00 pm

  • To arrive after 10:00 pm you must inform the establishment in advance

  • Check-out is at 12:00 pm

  • If the check-out is not done at the established time, a charge of 50% of the rate will be applied.

Taxes

The hotel, as a registered establishment, is obliged to collect the 19% Sales Tax (VAT) and report it and pay it to the competent authorities, so every guest resident in Colombia is obliged to make said payment.

Record

In order to comply with the laws for the protection of minors: 1336 of 2009 and 679 of 2001 and decree 297 of February 23, 2016 corresponding to the VAT regulation:

  • All guests, regardless of age, must register at reception before entering the rooms by presenting a valid identity document (cc, ce or pp)

  • If the guest does not present an identity document, the hotel will not authorize the entry.

Electronic Billing

  • The invoice will be issued in the name of the person who makes the reservation unless they request in writing whether it should be invoiced in the name of a company.

  • An electronic invoice will be sent to the indicated email after the accommodation has been caused.

  • By accepting this document you are accepting the sending of an electronic invoice

      Data Protection

      • The hotel will use your personal data only to make the reservation on time and issue the invoice.

      • Your email may be used to send special offers only from this establishment.

      General conditions

      • To make any purchase, you must be over 18 years of age, make the purchase for personal use, and have the legal capacity to complete the transaction.

      • You guarantee that all the information you provide us is true and accurate.

      • The information and / or prices displayed on this Site are updated from time to time, and therefore may vary.

      • The rate corresponding to your reservation is the one that is confirmed at the time of reservation and payment: if in future offers, promotions or discounts appear on the page on the dates for which you have reserved and paid, you will not be able to claim any change rate.

      • There will be no contract until the hotel accepts your reservation via email confirming your reservation and communicating a unique confirmation code.
